Kayla Harvey is an Indianapolis, IN based artist, photographer, and Real Estate professional. She was born and raised on the north side of Indianapolis before spending a handful of years traveling the United States pursuing various forms of employment in the fields of art and entertainment. 

Kayla began her career in Real Estate in 2016 as a Freelance listing Photographer, and then worked in Property Management and Leasing for several years. She became a licensed Real Estate Agent in Colorado in 2022, and in Indiana in 2023. Kayla graduated from Indiana University Indianapolis in May of 2025 with a Bachelor of Fine Art in Photography. In 2026, with more than 8 years of relevant industry work experience, Kayla began her business as a Transaction Coordinator.

In her artistic practice Kayla enjoys continually learning new techniques and processes. Her work involving Lenticular lens photography titled, “Embody” debuted at Aurora Photo Gallery in May of 2025. Between December 2024 and February 2025 her body of work titled, “There and Back: Collaboration and the Artists of the Harlem Renaissance” was shown at the Eskenazi Fine Art Center and the Harrison Center for the Arts. Kayla worked on curating this body of work as well as working on each piece individually in collaboration with seven other local Indianapolis artists. In June of 2024 Kayla showed her body of watercolor work titled “Beetles” in the Hank and Dolly Gallery at the Harrison Center for the Arts. This body of work is the source material for Kayla’s much anticipated children’s book set to be released summer 2026.

Kayla is a beloved daughter, sister, auntie and friend.
